When I started this journey, I didn't know what I was doing. I rented three cameras and a sound guy and went to interview my first experiencer, a guy named Dan Jacobi. He told me the wildest stories about being abducted since he was in the army.

At the end of our talk, he sent me to his basement to get a bucket full of metallic-looking rocks. He claimed he found them at UFO landing sites in Kadima in the 90s. When he put ice on one of the rocks, the ice started melting very fast. I managed to convince him to let me keep one, and that rock took me on the craziest year of my life.

But here’s the lesson, bro: Discernment is key. Right before I published my first big story, I was at a Passover dinner in Austin and saw an amazing orb in the sky. I was screaming at my family, "I told you so!". It stopped, turned into a ring of light, and I was ready to be taken.

Five minutes later, my daughter showed me her phone. It was a SpaceX launch. The lesson? Sometimes it’s aliens. Sometimes it’s a space missile. The game is learning to tell the difference. But I promise you, when I find a good story, I’m bringing it to you.
